In 1980, Salvy Jr. married his wife Anne. By the time 1984 rolled around they had two sons, Salvy Rocco and Anthony. In 1985, Anne left her promising career at General Electric to open with her husband a fourth store called Steve's Florist and Greenhouse in Lynn. This location expanded on the flower business by offering plants, nursery supplies, and home and garden decor.
Anne and Salvy Jr. raised their family alongside working long hours seven days a week to grow the family business. In 2003, they purchased Gallo's Florist at 470 Humphrey Street in Swampscott, MA. This sustained ability to expand their family business locations is a testament to their hard work and vision.
In 1999, one year after Google launched its search engine, Salvy Jr. and developer Chris Stacey, introduced one of the first fully secure online flower websites to our customers. The site lasted until November 18, 2018 when this new site was launched.
Today we continue to maintain the highest standards of security of our customers' data with an extended validation SSL certificate that involves a stringent vetting process to validate and verify www.salvytheflorist.com as a legitimate and trusted website.
Salvy Jr. is a leader in the floral industry and is known for his ability to create digital innovations for his online customers. In 2013, he co-founded See What You Send, Inc., a company that provides florists with the ability to take a photo of their floral arrangements and gifts. Customers receive the photograph before the flowers or gift is delivered. They also have the chance to give the florist a review. This feature is a big hit with our customers - we hope you like it! With this site Salvy Jr. wanted to create something special for his customers. Our new Salvy's Rewards program offers the most generous cash rewards in the floral industry. You can even donate your rewards to your favorite charity. We encourage you to join today.
Thank you for visiting our site and we encourage you to email us at customerservice@salvytheflorist.com if you have any comments on how to make the experience better.
